The Democratic Republic of Satoshi is a sovereign state (micronation) surrounded by the Netherlands. It was founded on the 12th of February 2022, by Lucas of Satoshi, Grand Miner President of the Democratic Republic of Satoshi. Satoshi aims to be a micronation that innovates, this was seen in the first few months of Satoshi’s existence when we co-hosted alongside Sancratosia and Obscurium, the first virtual micronational summit, Digi Micro Summit, the first of its kind. Satoshi also exists beyond the digital realm, having attended MicroCon EU and planning on attending other physical micronational events and conferences.
